We just wanted to say thank you.
Last weekend we had one of our most successful jumble sales – despite it being the first in three years and the heavens opening just hours before doors opened.
Nearly every family at the 28th was involved in the massive efforts to make the sale so successful – whether it was delivering leaflets with the cubs, setting up the hall, collecting & sorting mountains of jumble (we reckon we hit a new record this year!), catering for the masses, selling thousands of treasures, cleaning up, or supporting the sale on the day itself.
Every leaflet delivered, car boot filled, kettle boiled, and penny spent has helped, and will directly support the 28th in delivering Scouting for young people.
We’re lucky to have such a great community, and hope to see you again at future events (including our Nearly New & Book Sale on November 12th)!
