Planning is underway for our Tuesday and Wednesday Cub packs to join forces for a weekend in the Allander chalet at Auchengillan (around 45mins from Giffnock).
Our Cub leaders are busy planning a weekend of fun, challenge, and adventure and have will need a hand with catering to help things go smoothly.
Details about the opportunity
- The menu for camp is simple. We have examples from previous events and all the food can be ordered in advance for delivery to Auchengillan. Breakfast is usually cereal and rolls. For lunch it’s sandwiches, snacks and fruit. And for dinner, pasta, veg, and a sweet treat is ideal.
- The Allander Chalet has a fully kitted, industrial sized kitchen.
- A PVG with The Scouts is required to stay overnight at camp (indoor accommodation), this can take a few weeks to arrange.
