We’re hosting a short Welcome Evening (just 30 minutes!) for families new to the 28th to:

• Introduce Scouts & how our group works
• Share what’s planned for the year ahead
• Meet your child’s leaders
• Hear about how you can get involved

Before 20th August, please log in to OSM to:

• Update and confirm personal details
• Pay your subscription (available from mid-August)
• New members: Complete a Gift Aid declaration & census information

🤝 Getting involved

We’re run entirely by volunteers – and we need you!

Our annual subscription covers activities, badges, insurance, and national Scouting costs – but not hall maintenance or equipment. That’s why every family’s support with fundraising events like the Jumble Sale and Nearly New Sale is so important.

Additionally, more adults supporting our programme = more adventures for young people. Whether you’ve got a few hours a month or just want to lend a hand occasionally, your help makes all the difference.

💳 Annual subscription

We’re reviewing our subscription for the year ahead. Payments will be set up in OSM from mid-August.

We expect a small increase and will split the annual payment into two half-year payments. We’ll share full details as soon as they’re confirmed.

For all uniform essentials, visit the Glasgow Scout Shop online or in-person. All profits support the running of Scouts in Glasgow.

Please ensure all uniform & personal belongings (including waterbottles) are labeled clearly.
