We’re looking for team players with great organisational skills to join our Trustee Board. We’ll provide excellent training and support.

What do Trustees do?

Working as part of a team and other supporting volunteers, Trustees:

• Make sure scouts operates safely.
• Ensures the group has enough money.
• Understand the risks we face, and how to mitigate them.
• Influence the future of the group.

Support at every step of the way

Volunteers are the heart of the Scouts and we want you to get every bit as much out of it as you put in. We’ll provide learning on how our organisation works, your responsibilities as a trustee, and the systems that we use to manage our finances.

In the first few months of your role, you’ll complete e-learning modules (whenever it suits you best) that’ll bring you up to speed on the fundamentals of scouting, safety, safeguarding, and an introduction to being a trustee.
