Get stuck in and be amazed at the difference that you can make – and the fun that you’ll have!
We’re looking for enthusiastic adults from all backgrounds to help young people have fun and learn skills for life.
No experience? No problem! Whether you can help every week or just when you can, we provide training and support every step of the way.
Our sections meet on weekday evenings for between 1-2 hours.
We’re in particular need for extra hands at Tuesday Cubs (age 8-10.5, 19:00-20:30) and Explorers (age 14-17, Mondays 19:30-21:30). Please get in touch if you can help!
What do section teams do?
Working as a team, our leaders:
- Welcome young people and families to meetings
- Make sure everyone’s safe, supported, included and having fun
- Help to plan and lead activities
- Get involved with days out, camps and expeditions
- Share and learn skills – from coding to cake decorating to canoeing
- Celebrate young people’s achievements big and small
