Fundraising is key to our success – get involved with the team that makes it possible!

We’re re-shaping the organisation of our group, sharing tasks and working together to make volunteering easier and more fun.

Our new fundraising team are responsible for the co-ordination of fundraising events and the running of the Giffnock Scouts Fundraising Club.

Whether it’s helping with administration (to help manage who’s doing what at jumble sale) or providing your experience in health and safety (to ensure we run large events safely), your support makes all the difference.

However you can help will make a huge difference. Here’s some of the tasks we need a hand with:

  • Co-ordinating support for our key fundraising events, managing lists of who’s helping when & where the gaps are
  • Arranging publicity for our fundraising activities including posters, social media, and community engagement
  • Co-ordinating specific activities like our jumble sale leaflet drops and collection runs
