As Lead Volunteer, Hetty provides direction and support in order to develop the group and ensure it’s sustainability. One of Hetty’s primary goals is to ensure that all our leaders are fully supported to provide high quality programmes that provide young people with skills for life.

Leadership Team
Purpose
Our Leadership Team manage and support the Group and it’s volunteer leaders.
The team are responsible for making sure the best systems are in place to support volunteers in working together to provide young people with skills for life. The Leadership Team ensures the Group has an adequate number of volunteers, promotes and manages volunteer learning, and liaises with Eastwood District.
Membership
The Leadership Team consists of the group’s lead volunteer(s) and team leaders from each of our sections and sub-teams.
Some members of the Leadership Team help with specific tasks while others take on a few that match their skills, interests, and availability.

Trustee Board
Purpose
Our Board of Trustees are responsible for developing the 28th in accordance with its charitable objectives and in the parameters of good governance.
Whether it’s our strategy, policies, finances, or perception of Scouting in our community, our Board of Trustees take collective responsibility to ensure the 28th is well managed, allowing our leaders to deliver high quality programmes.
Membership
Our Trustee Board is led by the Group Chair and includes the Treasurer, the Lead Volunteer, and other trustees (usually parents or members of our local community).
